Sweet, shy, funny, mischievous Kelleyn! These are a few words Kelleyn's host family used to describe her. Born with femoral hypoplasia, which left one of her legs half the size of the other, Kelleyn has always either crawled or hopped to move about. Kelleyn had the first of two surgeries in 2008, was fit with a prosthetic, and learned to walk for the first time - on two feet! A strong, athletic young lady, her therapists were impressed with her quick progress. Kelleyn returns in January 2010 for a second surgery on her hip.
