Spending a chilly winter in St. Louis was well worth it for Nicole, a seventeen year-old from a small island in the Caribbean. Nicole underwent spine surgery for scoliosis, a curvature of the spine, at Shriners Hospital. Thanks to surgeon Dr. Scott Luhmann, she is thrilled with the results and looking forward to returning to the many sports and activities she loves.
